Wow, I feel like I've been MIA for quite a while. I have been crafting up a storm but unfortunately I don't have anything I can share with you just yet. Soon. I promise.
And I didn't even make a layout for this week's Sketchy Thursdays sketch, either. Well, technically, I didn't make anything new for it. I based the sketch on a layout I'd made a couple months ago, "Hoops Camp".
Unfortnately (or fortunately?) I can't share that layout with you, either, as it's been picked up for publication in one I haven't yet been published in!!!!!
But, our amazing Design Team outdid themselves, as usual, with some amazing eye candy and inspiration for you based on the sketch. Check it out!!!!!
You have until next Wednesday to play along for your chance at an awesome Halloween-themed kit from Your Memories Here.
I can't wait until Saturday. I'm taking another class from the amazing Bethany Kartchner. This time it's an art journaling class. Maybe this time it won't take me over a month to share what I made. LOL. (I still need to show you what I made from the last class!)
Have a great end of your week!!!

Pink Ninjas Kawaii Challenge!!!
It's the clash of two DTs again!!!
This week the prompt on The Pink Ninjas is "Kawaii" ("cute" in Japanese).
This week the prompt on The Pink Ninjas is "Kawaii" ("cute" in Japanese).
Can't get much cuter than a Care Bear, eh? How about the CUTE cloud, sun, and "kawaii"? Those are all from the new Torendi Rub Ons set "A Kawaii Day".
These rub ons are **AMAZING**!!! They're shiney black vinyl so they're really sturdy, easy to apply, and they have a teeny bit of dimension so they work well as an outline for glue in case you're a glitter freak like me.
Here I filled each letter and the sun in with Art Glitter glue and then covered with fine glitter. You can see, especially with the sun, how the glue stayed within the outline and didn't flood into the facial features because the rub ons have a little height to them.
Here I use my Art Glitter glue again to outline against the rub on and apply glitter.
Also, notice that I applied the two heart rub ons directly on top of glitter and they adhered beautifully.
Plus, it may be difficult to discern from my layout the size of these rub ons...they're HUGE!!
The rainbow is just a series of strips of paper I sprayed with glue and applied glitter. (A la my hot air baloon card for Torendi.)
Bop on over to the Pink Ninja's site HERE to check out what Kawaii creations the rest of the Design Team made.
And then we'd love to see what Kawaii projects you make!! This week The Pink Ninjas is hosting an actual challenge WITH A PRIZE!!! This week's challenge is being sponsored by Torendi and they're going to send one lucky winner a set of the amazing "I ~heart~ Kawaii" rub ons!
So link up your project by December 8 HERE for your chance to win!!!!!
AND, check out the Pink Ninjas site for an awesome Torendi store coupon code, too!!!
Have a great Wednesday!

Believe
Happy Sketchy Thursdays and Happy Unity Friday Friends With Flair!!
I'm just really in a Christmas mood lately. Here's another layout...
This is a pic of my son getting his sleigh bell from Santa on the Polar Express train ride a couple years ago.
This week's sketch is sponsored by Art Glitter. So be sure to check out the Sketchy Thursdays blog for all the Design Team samples because they're all chock full of yummy glitter!!
I used two different Art Glitter glitters...the jingle bells are covered with super chunky Vintage Glass Glitter in Silvery Moon:
And, the red on the bells and on the word "Believe" is Ultrafine Pearlescent in Retro Red.
Don't you just love this "Believe" stamp? It's a huge Unity Stamp Company stamp! Perfect for scrapbooking.
I have to say I own quite a few colors and styles of Art Glitter and it is some GORGEOUS stuff!!
Be sure to hook up your Sketchy creation to Mr. Linky in the Sketchy Thursdays sidebar by next Wednesday evening for your chance to win some Art Glitter of your own!!
Details: Paper - Crate Paper, The Paper Company; Art Glitter glitter; Unity Stamp Company stamp; Trim - Michaels, Stampin' Up!; StazOn ink; Zig Millennium pen; Cricut diecut; unknown jingle bells.
Also, be sure to jump on over to the Unity Stamp Company site to check out the AMAZING specials they have going on all weekend! Did you know there are 5 new releases that are only available this weekend and then not again until January??!!
Thanks for stopping by today!!
Heidi
