It's time once again for our happy, shiney Sketchy Thursdays fix!!!!
This one is so beautiful I think I might have to do another sample this week!!!! (Maybe this time I'll go crazy with the paint more like the sketch dictates.) I'm positive this will become another go-to sketch. Diana is one seriously talented chickie!!! (Go give her some love!!! She deserves it!!!)
March 2011 issue
My son just loves his Legos and has such a great imagination. I love this particular pic because although it doesn't showcase a spectacularly humongous Lego creation, the look on his face is beautiful. He just looks like he's dreaming. Hence the "Dreamer" theme.
Do you remember this line? It the My Mind's Eye Bohemia line. I've used papers, chipboard, rub ons, and acetate items from both the Backyard and the Barefoot collections. The only things not Bohemia on this layout are the SEI pearl brads and the cord which I think came on a present I once received (gotta love recycling!).
Details: Paper, acetate frame, acetate shapes, chipboard quote, rub ons - My Minds Eye Bohemia line; SEI pearl brads; cord unknown.
Check out what our AWESOME Sketchy Thursdays Design Team did with this sketch this week. Something that struck me about all the DT entries this week was not only their overall gorgeous layouts, but that they ALL contain absolutely STUNNING pictures. We are so lucky to have this team. Unbelievable talent!!
And you are NOT going to believe what is up for grabs this week!! This sketch is being sponsored by STUDIO CALICO!!!
Just lOOk at what they're offering up:
It's their Tango kit, valued at over $26!!! Serious drOOOOOOOOllll!
So hurry!!!!! Hook up your amazing creations to Mr. Linky in the Sketchy Thursdays sidebar!!! You have until next Wednesday, 11/11!!!!!
