If you are not familiar with Elsie, check out her blog. She is so much fun and an amazing talent. Every time I click onto her blog I get lost for waaaaaay too much time. (As I just did so I could link it up to this post. Ha ha!)
The cool prompt is brought to you by this month's Ninja Star Gloria!! She's a barrel of fun her ownself!! Check out her bloggity blog.
Here's my Elsie-inspired:
Inspired by this by Elsie:
So, obviously, I was inspired by Elsie's hand-drawn, no-fuss line frames (which ARE solid lines on my layout despite if they may look broken on the screen), her fun mixed-up font writing, and her always gorgeous doodling.
This fabric is some Elsie adhesive fabric (of which I've had so long it was no longer adhesive - but that worked out to my advantage). I stitched it at the edge of the paper to show how it's hanging over the edge. I like to do that, huh? Push the boundaries of the l/o. Looks fun except it makes photographing the l/o a bitch and doesn't work too well when you try to cram it into a regular scrapbook, lol.
The top doodled text block is also some Elsie paper - I think it's called math class.
Check out what the rest of the Ninjas made for your inspiration. It's simply fabulous!!
Have a great Wednesday!!
Heidi
