Digi is not my friend.

Nope.  I am not a digital scrapper.  It's very frustrating for me.  I'd like to be.  I've been trying.  It's just not meant to be apparently.

This week's Sketchy Thursdays is sponsored by Sassy Designs, Ltd. and Terry provided our DT with samples from one of her awesome digi kits to use for our sketch reveal.

Here's my attempt:

As you will note, I took quite a bit of creative license with Diana's gorgeous sketch:

Mainly, I changed her square into a diamond (as in baseball diamond) and changed the orientation of the pictures.

Up for grabs this week is the Sassy Designs, Ltd. gorgeous kit, although you don't have to make a digi layout to enter.  Just use our sketch.  :o)

Please hop on over to the Sketchy blog to check out what the rest of the Design Team made for your inspiration.  They all did such awesome jobs with the digi!!  AND don't forget to check out our new Guest Design Team Member, Melissa!!!  She's such a cutie!!

OK, sorry for the quick post but it's late and I'm just about done and frustrated to death with my computer.  I'm going to bed.

Hope you have a great Thursday!!

Heidi

  6. WHAT THE *flip* ARE YOU TALKIN' ABOUT, MISSUS??!?!?! this is AWESOME!!! ♥♥♥

are you sure it's the result you don't like or the frustration of say...photoshop??! in which case, may i recommend using ANY OTHER graphics/text design program (i like broderbund printshop) for everything that doesn't involve blending modes? seriously. i'[ve come to the conclusion that i need to take a beginning class in order to get the hang of "layers" in photoshop. it is just NOT an intuitive piece of software. at all.

having said that, i repeat: this is ♥AWESOME♥!!!!!
