Mother's Day Present - Stella Ruby Card Set

I can't believe it's been 3 days since my last post! My days have been so busy running around and then I've just been tired after putting the kids to bed. It's been all I could do to get my mom's Mother's Day gift finished. We met for lunch today - we both hate the crowds at restaurants on Mother's Day. It's just crazy!
Anyway, you may remember that the Basic Grey Stella Ruby birds gift card set I made a while ago was made with my mom in mind. She really likes all things vintage and I knew she'd love the look of this particular BG paper. (See that post here for details and close ups of each note card.)

I made a coordinating gift box to go with the note card set. It's topped off with a flower made the same way as the ones I did on the Wish layout.
I also stamped each note card envelope with a coordinating bird, but I didn't get a pic of those.
Of course, no Mother's Day present is complete without a card for mom. Again, vintage birdcages, sooo my mom. Gotta love Basic Grey!!

Including a coordinating envelope, too:

And, finally, here's the whole gift ensemble. I was in Michaels getting the ribbon for the gift box and happened upon the vase of hydrangeas and knew that it was sooo my mother's style.

Details gift box : Paper - The Paper Company, Basic Grey; Fiskars border punch; Michaels ribbon; SU! Sticky Strip tape; Colorbox ink; thread.

See this posting for details on the note cards.
Now off to work on my mother-in-law's card. She such a sweet woman who is so great with my kids. I've got to come up with something special!

Thank you so much for looking! Your comments are welcome and quite appreciated!
