I followed the sketch on the Page Maps blog here for the card design. The beautiful papers are from Prima Marketing's The First Blush collection again (just like on the "Wish" layout in this post). I simply can't say enough about this gorgeous collection of papers. The patterns and colors themselves are beautiful, but then Prima adds sheen and a little bit of sparkle to them, too. Unfortunately, my poor photography skills don't bring out those qualities in the pics. I've included a "flat" (non-sparkly/shiney) pic (above) and one that shows the shine a bit (below). Each pic displays different aspects of the overall card.
The beautiful doily lace element (overlaying the green patterned paper) is cut with my Quickutz Silhouette. The "happy mothers day" swoosh on the front and the "Thank You" frame on the inside are both from the Cricut Storybook cartridge. The rose spray on the front and the rose on the inside are both "fussy cut" from the patterned paper. The spray is popped up with foam for dimension.
Details: Paper - Prima Marketing, The Paper Company; Ink - Ranger Distress Ink, Colorbox; Die Cuts - Cricut, Silhouette; Stamps - Hero Arts, Karen Foster Snap Stamps; Melissa Frances Vintage Attic Treasures pearls; foam squares.
So, what do you think - will she like this?
Thank you so much for looking!
Heidi
