Today was my turn to pose the Question of the Day over on Memories Always-Forever.

I've been working on a layout for Vintage Plum today but can't post it over here yet. (I will as soon as I can.)

In the meantime, I was thinking, when I don't have any projects to share, I'd share some of my pictures. I've been trying to learn more about my camera (Canon Powershot SD1000) and it's settings, and trying to teach myself to use light and learn better composition.

Here's a pic of my pup I took a few weeks ago at sunset. There was a time when I would've thought this pic was a lost cause due to the lighting, but now I understand and actively seek out sun flare as a design element.

Here's one of my son enjoying a snowcone at sundown. Not quite as impressive but still a worthy shot, artistically.

And, finally, here's my daughter also enjoying her snowcone. No sun flare but nice lighting.
