Doodle In the Margins of Life

This is just going to be one of those weeks, huh?  The kind that just FLIES by in a blink of an eye.  It's already Tuesday.  Sheesh! 

This week's prompt on The Pink Ninjas is #14 SECRETS.  Wow!  This could go just soooo many ways.  I took it in a "Kids, here's the secret of life..." direction. 

Not sure if you can read the letter:



It says, "Growing up is hard work. You'll have to learn all the shoulds & musts & nevers. You'll be taught the this-is-hows. And that's OK. Because that's just the Beginning. You'll soon discover there's also what if? Let's see... How about this? GO AHEAD. Look at the world from a different PERSPECTIVE. There's more than one Right Answer. {heart}, Mom."

I'M JUST MAKING IT UP AS I GO.

I started out intending on cutting out just the word "secret" from the popcorn box but realized there was an awesome handy-dandy "lift tab to open" ready-made just for secret journaling. How COOL is that??!!

And I wanted the background of the layout to reflect the "making it up as I go" feel...which is EXACTLY what I did. I just started grabbing paint and punches and just MADE IT UP AS I WENT.

And where does the layout title come from you say?  (OK, so maybe you weren't just burning to know that but I'll tell ya anyway!)  The margin of my paper looked naked so I doodled in it.  And it says, "Go ahead.  Doodle in the margins of life."  I'm just deep all over the place today, eh?!

What is WRONG with Blogger??!!!  It takes me longer to FIX their messed up formatting than it does to make the darn post!!  PLEASE if anyone knows how to fix this - if there's some secret button I just need to turn from yes to no or vice versa, I'm IMPLORE you, PLEASE TELL ME!!!
