Well, I told you another one of those birds would be cropping up shortly. This time I used one of the negatives of the transparencies from earlier in the week (HERE & HERE) as a mask and painted good ol' Mr. Birdie.
For some reason, in order for the painted bird to look like a bird in the picture of the entire layout, I had to shoot it at a severe angle so I apologize for the warped nature of the image. This is really a 12 x 12 layout.
Are you starting to gleen a theme I've got going with this bird? Apparently I subconsciously associate birds with inspiration for my kids. The text says, "SOAR my children, as you GROW". I love this shot of my daughter's hands assisting in planting a tomato plant last spring.
