Steamy Haiku - Sketchy Thursday

Who can resist anything about their kids' toes (unless, of course, they're not so little and not so odorless anymore...)? My little girl laid down on the edge of my tub the other day (we have a separate tub/shower set up) and pressed her little piggies against the shower wall while I was taking a shower. So, of course, I had to have her recreate the scene once I was a bit more decent and less wet. I love the way her feet look so ethereal through the frosted glass.

I realized once I started writing my journaling for this layout that it was taking the form of a haiku, so I went with it!

Lots of fun stitching and backstitching. Loving the embedded border punch look. Couldn't pass up the K&Company Daydreams line of paper for this...just perfect!

Of course, had to get my Sketchy Thursday fix in this week. Have I told you how much I absolutely LOVE Diana's sketches over on Design by Diana??

Details: K&Company paper; Rub on letters - Heidi Swapp, Creative Imaginations; Ink - Colorbox, StazOn; Studio g letter stamps; Fiskars border punch; Zig Milennium pen; thread; unknown tile stickers and stitching rub ons.

Hope you have a GREAT Thursday! Today is my first day volunteering in my son's classroom. I can't wait!!!

Don't forget to join me Friday for our weekly dose of Unity Stamp Co. Hip Hop Hangover!!

  2. I LOVE the little piggies too! So cute. I so wished I had captured moments like this when my daughter was wee!

    How adorable.
